(^ he can't even believe it and neither can I. Hoopy Boofdoo Sool <3 )
On a more somber note, today also marks the 1 year anniversary of the death of my, would be 26 year old sister Tiffany Faith.

(She was my inspiration to go to college, to do well, to want better for myself - she is hugging me int he bottom, center - I miss her.
In her honor, I keep striving, keep living, keep passionately loving.)
Now onto Crossfit, yeah yeah !
yesterday - best day of food:
morning: apple, almonds, h20
lunchy: my wraps w/ avocado - 1 slice of turkey, and lettuce. + cucumber slices, a carrot, 1/8 of a red, green, orange pepper
then...MONICA BOUGHT ME FOOD.

(bad quality, delicious steroidal strawberries & pineapple to boot. + 4 of each :) )
the big kahuna -
(lettuce, spinach, cucumber, banana peppers, 1 hard boiled egg, 4 pieces of lean chicken, carrots, red peppers, sunflower seeds w/lemon juice over it all= so full.)
warmup:
leg to bar - 10 (I ripped open my hand :<, these are fun but hard. You jump up on the bar, arms extended and push your shoulders forward and feet back and swing and then try to touch your feet to the bar !)
raised arm pushups - 10 (you do a pushup but go all the way to the ground, when you get there you raise your hands a few inches and push back up.)
jumping squats - 10 (squat, get up to the top, clap hands, squat)
^ x3
workout: Jackie
Row - 1000M
50 thruster
30 pullups
time: 18:30
last night - WOAH - First of all... Cj's dad went fishing and got us 4 trout ! Woop woop! So safe to say, last night was so yommy. I mean, it could have used salt but lets be real, anything warm and slightly salty is delicious on Paleo. (I forgot to take a picture :/) but it was:
1 small trout, onion, garlic, lemon, dill - covered in foil and cooked for 30 minutes on 350 degrees. You could say you could try it once and be... hooked? (Har har.)
then one of our trainers, Katie ( i like her.) told us about these pancakes we can make that are paleo approved. Linds I already told you about these...
-1 egg, 1 banana, 1 scoop of almond butter.
(this is what Ceej had for breakfast this AM, I ate this - but not this... ya know. they taste like banana bread - it felt like i was cheating ! )
then sleepy time. I am feeling the effects and feel better - sleep, skin, face, digestion. I sleep better then I have in a long time and my body is perpetually sore but in the best way possible.
today:
picked up a 24 oz. lemon chamomile (no added sugar),
ate 1 banana and almond butter
went to quiz section,
ate - had the same salad again(YUM.) & h2o to boot.
time to go home now, I'm playing softball tonight and then hanging out with some of my siblings! hoorah! weekend.

Ahhh, just saying: I think I'm in love with this blog.
Happy birthday to your brother! And I'm sorry about tiffany-- I hope you're feeling alright. I wish I knew her.
Your food is so awesome. Like, super impressive you can stick with this diet. The only things I've heard is that it's awesome for athletes, and you're super tired all the time in the beginning but then you get used to it and have like, super energy? I dunno. I think I like the idea a lot. Also, can you eat quinoa? I know quinoa is technically a seed rather than a grain... so who knows? And that banana/egg/abutter thing looks amazing. I only made a sweet potatoe/egg pancake thing for dinner but it was so eggy! Maybe this is different. I want to try regardless. (PS, my heart jumped a little when I saw my name... I know it's silly, but I felt so special :> )
Do you think the better skin/digestion/everything is due to the diet or intense workouts? And not gonna lie, I think I may be doing some of those things you described tonight... I wanna crossfit!
That is what is happening ! I love it. At first, I hated this diet and wasn't sure how you keep going but I seriously think that my body is changing what it wants and when... I mean, I do eat all the time now but thank god it isn't just carbs/sugar to fill me.
I can't eat Quinoa :< I know. It's a big no-no's of the Paleo and especially of the 30 day challenge. Boo. You should try it Mills, they seriously melt in your mouth ESPECIALLY if you have fresh blueberries in them O_O nom.
Hmm, I think that it's both - I mean, when I was living with you guys and eating what you ate which was better than once I left :/ Some things had gotten better but I think that it's also that my body is doing a mad detox so everything is coming up daisies. I sleep better now too and I think it's just because I am exhausted and there isn't any sugar/caffeine that I can touch.
You should! There is Narrows Crossfit that Emily does and she loves it - so if you're back home this summer? It's pretty expensive in Seattle but if you can budget it - it's worth it :)
